Arrowhead Stadium
STADIUM HISTORY
Arrowhead Stadium opened in 1972 as the home of the Kansas City Chiefs — one of the oldest stadiums in WC2026 hosting. Capacity 76,416. Holds the Guinness World Record for loudest crowd at a sports stadium (142.2 dB, 2014). Hosted multiple NFL playoff games and Copa America Centenario 2016 matches.
GETTING THERE & LOCAL CONDITIONS
Located in eastern Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is 25 minutes by car. June-July weather: hot and humid (28-34°C / 82-93°F) with afternoon thunderstorm risk — meaningful tactical factor for visiting sides.
Venue Betting Note
World-record crowd intensity + heat factor combine to create one of the most-difficult away-team environments at WC2026. Set-piece defending and goalkeeper communication historically suffer here. Consider home-side ATS angles favourably.
